America’s Best Summer Vacation Spot
Summer is the perfect time to take a vacation and travel with family and friends. Whether your ideal vacation includes a beach, a city, or a small town, Boston appeals to travelers of all types. The city was recently voted the #1 best summer vacation spot in the USA for 2018.
This will not be a surprise for people who have experienced Boston before. I was fortunate enough to be born and raised 40 minutes away, and was able to experience everything Boston had to offer. From the historic buildings, to the beautiful coastline, amazing attractions, and great shopping, you won’t want to miss your chance to experience Boston this summer.
While you are there, be sure to check out the hop-on hop-off trolly, the famous Duck Tour, Boston Commons, and the unforgettable Paul Revere Freedom Trail.
Boston not only has the best tours, but amazing shopping and restaurant spots. I highly recommend the Prudential Center, Newbury Street, and Fanuiel Hall, a historic shopping center that has several stores and restaurants located in the heart of Boston.
If you want to take a break from the historic city, there are plenty of places located nearby to take a day trip to. If you’re a beach type of person, Cape Cod is the place for you! Not only is it a quick hour and a half ride, but it also has ferries that go directly to the islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. Marblehead and Gloucester are also beautiful coastlines on the North Shore of Boston, and well worth looking into.
If the beach isn’t for you, New Hampshire is close by, known for its quaint towns and stunning mountains. Here the outdoor adventures are endless with hiking trails, swimming in fresh, clean lakes, and even zip-lining though the forest. There are plenty of museums, attractions, and events to explore more of New England’s interesting history.
If you have’t booked your trip to Boston yet, get to it! Whether you’re traveling as a family, a team, or a company make sure to use HopSkip as your booking site, to make booking multiple rooms a breeze.
