Born from firsthand experience with the challenges of booking business events, HopSkip was founded by Sean, Luke and Greg, who saw an opportunity to transform an outdated process. After being asked to plan an annual meeting, and spending over 1,000 nights in hotels as a management consultant, our CEO, Sean Whalin, intimately understood the pain points of both planners and hotels.
Together with his co-founders Luke Whalin (and Sean’s brother), a top-performing enterprise sales executive, and Greg Leizerowicz, a veteran software architect, he built HopSkip to modernize business event booking. What started as a solution to simplify venue sourcing has grown into a comprehensive platform that’s generated over $130M in booking value for our partners.
